DSC


DRIVING SAFETY COURSE

The 6-hour DTA Driving Safety Course (DSC) can be taken by any driver who has been ordered to attend traffic school by a Texas court as part of the deferred adjudication process. This course can also be taken voluntarily for a 10% insurance discount. Drivers who voluntarily attend BOTH a DSC course and a DADAP course may be eligible to receive a total insurance discount of 15%.

DADAP

DRUG AND ALCOHOL DRIVING AWARENESS PROGRAM

Individuals who are convicted in Texas of certain drug and alcohol-related offenses may be ordered to attend the 6-hour Drug and Alcohol Driving Awareness Program (DADAP). Also, any Texas driver can take this course voluntarily to obtain a mandatory 5% insurance discount. Drivers who voluntarily attend BOTH a DSC course and a DADAP course may be eligible to receive a total insurance discount of 15%.
