Are you at least 15 years old and ready to get your first Florida driver license? If you are, you can take your DHSMV-required drug and alcohol course online!
Completing the 4-hour Traffic Law Substance Abuse Education Course is your first step to getting your Florida Class E learner's permit. Teens prefer our exciting online drug and alcohol course because:
After you pass your drug and alcohol test at the end of the learner's permit course, you can take your driver license test online. This option is only available to students who take the ONLINE course, not the live class.
The online learners permit test will only be offered through December 31st, 2010. The Florida DHSMV has announced that the program will be terminated after that date, so act now if you want to take your test on the Internet instead of standing in line at the driver license office!
The driver license test will ask you 20 questions on Florida road rules and 20 questions on Florida road signs. There is a separate fee to take your driver license test online.
If you pass one or both parts of the test, we will notify the Florida DHSMV and you will not have to take your road signs and road rules test in person. If you do not pass the first time, you can take the test online again (up to three times, total).
