Online Traffic School
There are thousands of online traffic school
companies advertising their courses (or in most cases,
other companies' courses) these days. So how do you
know which online traffic school is right for you?

Florida
Online Traffic School
For many years, drivers who received a Florida traffic ticket
could only keep the points off their license by sitting
through a 4-hour class. We're happy to report that those
days are long gone! If you receive a Florida ticket, you
can now attend our online 4-hour DHSMV approved Basic Driver
Improvement course, also known as Florida online traffic
school. Florida online traffic school can be taken by Florida
license holders AND out of state drivers.
Other reasons for attendance of the Florida online traffic
school course include State required TCAC (Traffic Collision
Avoidance Course), court ordered, judge ordered, and voluntary
for insurance discount (up to 10% with the approval of your

Texas
Online Traffic School
DTA now offers 6-hour Texas online
traffic school as an alternative to the traditional classroom
based course. Our Texas online traffic school program is
fully approved by the Texas Education Agency, therefore
it is accepted by all Texas counties as an approved method
of satisfying the requirement for deferred adjudication.

NOTE: The Texas online traffic school course can also be
taken voluntarily for a mandatory 10% automobile insurance
discount. Most Texas automobile insurers will grant this
discount, but we recommend that you contact your insurer

Virginia
Online Traffic School
In Virginia, drivers have been able
to take an 8-hour traffic school course to dismiss points
for a ticket, to accrue safe driver points to use for future
violations, and to obtain an insurance discount. In the
past, this course could be taken only in the classroom.
Now, DTA is pleased to announce that Virginia drivers can
take Virginia online traffic school through this website.

The 8-hour Virginia online traffic school course is 100%
DMV approved and accepted by all Virginia counties. Although
the 8 hours of course content are delivered through the
Internet, Virginia law requires that the final examination
must be taken at a testing center. DTA offers the Virginia
online traffic school exam at numerous locations throughout
the state for your convenience.
NOTE: At the present time, drivers under
20 years of age and drivers who hold a commercial driver
license (CDL) are not permitted to take the Virginia online
